Main Polish: Essie, Bachelorette Bash
I have really been loving the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure collection. I have yet to find another polish that applies so smoothly and last as long as these.
Main Polish: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Color, Trouble Maker
Accent Polish: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Color, I Lilac You
For this weeks manicure I also used my dotting tool. I really love incorporating it with my weekly manicures because it’s SO easy to use and can turn a plain manicure into something more creative. THIS is the dotting tool I own.
Here is the finished look:
As I’ve mentioned in the past, I love the Sinful Colors nail collections.
They are super affordable and have great lasting ability.
What do you think about this shade?
Yesterday was an exciting day for me.
It was my BRIDAL SHOWER!!! 🙂
My sister was down for the weekend so we took the time to go get mani & pedis with our mom for the big day. Since I was wearing a white dress I wanted a color that would pop against not only my dress but tan skin. When I came across Essie’s “Boom Boom Room” I knew it was the one. This is a total Barbie Pink & I love it sooo much, I will be picking up a bottle to keep at home.
I used both regular tape cut into strips and a nail dotting tool to obtain the designs.
1. I painted all my nails the color I liked with 2 coats each.
**Remember to let the nail fully dry, or throw some quick dry top polish to speed up the process.
2. I then took a piece of scotch tape and cut it into smaller strips.
3. Take the tape strips and create the design you would like.
4. Take your accent polish and paint the whole nail. (use 2 coats if a sheer color)
5. Wait 2 minutes, remove strips.
6. Using a dotting tool (a tooth pick & bobby pin work just as good) create a design for an accent nail.
7. Finish with a top coat.
So easy & CHIC!

I recently qualified for the #VIVAVOXBOX through Influenster & my box arrived last week 🙂
Here’s what was included:
Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer Cocoa Radiant – $7.99
Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card – Free
Pure Ice Nail Polishes in Afterhours & It’s Complicated – $1.69 ec.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths – $5.99
NYC New York Color City Proof Twistable Intense Lip Color in South Ferry Berry – $2.99
Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas in Creamy Coconut – $2.49
Everything included in this Voxbox was super useful.
As you all already know by now – I am obsessed with nail polish so I made sure to use the Pure Ice polishes right away. I’ll have a manicure post about them up shortly. The NYC Intense Lip Color was one of my favorite items in the box. The color is so rich & packs the punch of a lipstick while gliding on effortless. Montagne Jeunesse makes some of my favorite face mask so I’m really looking forward to trying out the Creamy Coconut. The Vaseline Spray & Go Moisturizer is something I have been interested in trying out since it came out. It is so easy to use BUT the fact that it includes alcohol in its ingredients is a NO for me. Also it isn’t very thick like other lotions that really moisturizer but I will definitely use it when on the go. I never heard of the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths prior to this box. I’m also looking for new products to cleanse my face so I can’t wait to test these out. Lastly, the Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card was in this Voxbox and it is a free card that allows you to save at the pump. No complaints there.
