For this weeks manicure I was going to keep it simple & just go with red.
BUT then I decided I wanted to play around with some tape and just cut strips to see what I could come up with.
Main Polish: Sephora by O.P.I in And a Cherry on Top
Accent Polish: Revlon ‘Limited Edition’ Chalkboard Nail Art
A 2nd nail color and tape can turn a basic manicure into a chic one in seconds.
I’m really happy with this weeks manicure. I have been going crazy trying to find my nail tape and I finally was able to find it so I played around with different designs this week.
Main Polish: Essie Resort Collection ’14 in Under the Twilight
Accent Polish: Essie Resort Collection ’14 in Cocktails & Coconuts
Accent Glitter Polish: Maybelline Color Show in Gilded Rose
What do you think?
As you can see, I’m still on my Essie – Resort Collection kick!
For this weeks manicure I went with “Find Me An Oasis”
They consider this a refreshing ice blue, but I see it as Cinderella Blue and I loveee it!
I wanted to add an accent nail to make the blue stand out a little more so I added some nail art.
Main Polish: L’Oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish in Violet Vixen
I’ve featured this color in a manicure post in the past and I absolutely love the richness of the color as well as the stay power it has.
I’ve been testing out some more of Essie’s 2014 Resort Collection and I’m in loveee with this nude color.
Main Color: Essie – Cocktails & Coconuts
Accent Glitter: Sinful Colors – Pride
It took me 3 coats to achieve this color but there was no streaking and it was not overly thick which was great. It is a perfect color to add different designs or accent colors on top of as well. Do you like nude colors? If so – you must pick up Cocktails & Coconuts!
I am loving the Julep Maven polishes! They so on effortlessly and the colors are fantastic. Here’s a look at this weeks manicure.
Main Polish: Julep Maven Daria
Accent Polish: Julep Maven Elle
What do you think about this color combo?
For this weeks manicure I wanted to use a color that was included in a package that my friends over at wet n wild sent to me.
A018 – Ferguson Crest Syrah
This polish is part of Fergie’s collection with wet n wild. Fergie’s Center Stage Collection has a wide variety of color and textures ranging from bold pinks to chromes and metallics. The finishes are perfection and I cannot wait to test out some more colors.
Here is the finished look:
I am lovinggg this color!
Have you tested out any of Fergie’s collection with Walgreens? If so – what are your favorite products?
Happy New Year’s Eve!!!! I decided to go simple with black and to add a pop of glitter.
Main Polish: Revlon Chalkboard in OverAchiever
Accent Glitter 1: Sephora By O.P.I – Only Gold For Me
Accent Glitter 2: Sinful Colors in Lush Life
I hope you all have a fun & SAFE New Year’s Eve & a New Year filled with lots of love, wealth, success and great health.
When I heard we were having a snowy weekend, I decided to have my nails match the forecast. White is a very tricky color to pull off in general but when I tested out this polish – I knew it was a winner! It had great pigment with just 2 coats and was streak-less.
Main Polish: Julep Maven in Bunny
Accent Jewels: Fing’rs Flirt Nail & Body Jewels
I am loving this kit from Fing’rs. I’ve had my eye on it for months now and finally decided to purchase it. I think there is so much you can do with the jewels and I love the variety of colors and shapes in the kit. I was surprised to see that after 5 days I had only slight chipping in my polish but also my nail jewels did not move. I can see myself getting a lot of use from this kit since it can turn your manicure from plain to chic in seconds.
How do you feel about White manicures?
I finally got to use my Julep Maven polishes for a manicure and I love the results!
Main Polish: Daria
Accent Polish: Valerie
Both of these colors are part of the Bombshell collection. Daria is a Dark slate grey crème while Valerie is Teal with iridescent microglitter. Another great factor of these polishes is that they are Toxin Free and Chip Resistant!
